Frequently asked questions

  • Why choose us?

We have 20 years of industry expertise filming in locations all over the UK.

We offer a bespoke and personal service to clients & location owners and we love our job! We know each  location inside out, which is so important in ensuring a successful shoot.

We will always endeavour to negotiate the best rate for your property.

  • How much could I earn

The fee that you earn from a shoot depends on a number of factors, primarily what the production is (i.e. photographic shoot/ TV commercial/feature film etc)  the size of the crew, as well as the type of location, (beach hut, suburban semi or stately home etc)

Any confirmed booking will incur a commission of 20% which will be deducted from the location fee paid to you.

  • Is my property suitable?

We are interested in all sorts of properties, from beach huts to stately homes & lots in between. Size is an important factor, in so far as there needs to be enough space in the property to hold a crew of at least 3 people and allow space in front of the camera.

A busy road , rail or aeroplane noise can be an issue but that may simply mean it is just more suitable for stills photographic jobs.

Whilst most filming takes place within 50 miles of London, many productions will travel for the right location, so we love hearing about property that is further afield too.

  • How do I photograph my property?

It is important to show your property to its best advantage, so please have a read of our suggestions below for how to make the most of photographing your property.

    • Wherever possible use natural daylight rather than flash or electric light ( try to choose a day that isn’t too sunny as this can make it difficult to photograph inside).
    • Photograph each room in turn, as if you were giving a tour of the house. Take a photo from each end of the room and each corner so that all angles are covered.
    • Take landscape photographs rather than portrait.
    • Try not to use an extra wide angled lens as this will distort the size of the room, making it look much larger than it is, and will be misleading.
    • Take photographs of the outside of the house as well as the garden, including any features such as a tennis court, summerhouse or swimming pool.
    • Don’t forget to include any special interior features, such as fireplaces, wooden floors or an interesting staircase etc.
    • Have a look through our website and see how others have photographed their property to get a feel of what works well.
    • Once we receive your registration form and photographs we will get back to you to let you know if we think your property is suitable.
